A dedicated staff offers the clients a global assistance not limited to insurance but extended to supplementary services, such as covers for yacht transportation and condition survey.

Hull and Machinery Yacht Insurance Policy covers all risks caused by any accident to the boat, its equipment and fittings, engines, instruments, furnishing and tender, including:

salvage expenses, wreck removal and dismantlement, hull inspection after grounding
war Risks and social-political events
damages due to latent defect (not including the defective part)
vandalism or negligent acts
personal belongings
total theft
Partial theft of equipment and fittings (onboard or ashore provided that the premises are locked); theft of the outboard motor securely fixed to the vessel, if equipped with antitheft device; theft of tender, if marked with the name of the parent vessel
measures against pollution arising from leakage or damages to the craft
waiver of recovery action against shipyards, only in case of fire

Special conditions:

covers for sails, masts, boom, swinging boom, standing and running riggings during rac3s up to two thirds of the replacement costs
chartering with qualified crew
extension to machinery damage
extension of trading limits

Agreed value: the value of any over 10 years boat has to be established after a condition survey (to be carried out ashore) at owner’s expenses. thence, the underwriters grant the clause “agreed value”, which allows the recovery of the whole insured amount in case of total loss, irrespective of commercial value of the yacht at the time of the casualty.

New for old: equipments and extra fittings are included in the insured amount, upon submission of a complete list of items and relevant values. damages, except for those occurred to protective covers and outboard motors, will be refunded at current cost, without considering wear and tear.
